I wanted you all to have a look at this website Knit Love Into It.

I found out about his young lady when she left a message on my facebook page asking for a donation of knitted toys for the Miami Children’s Hospital. 

I think what Jennifer is doing is such a fantastic project and we really need more young leaders with initiative and integrity like hers in this world.

A flock of  Twitter Tweets are winging their way from Australia to Knit Love Into It to bring smiles to some sick children in Miami US.

So if you have any wool lying around, have a toy you can knit up or can donate some dollars.  I encourage you to hop over to Knit Love Into It and give back.

Monster pants are go!!

My mission is to bring smiles and joy to child’s lives.  The sub-mission -  bring joy into adults lives too.  Sometimes you see things that just make you think - ’I wish I was a kid again so I could wear this.’  These are one of those times.  I ask you how gorgeous are these???

Before knitted toys there was the first stitch

So before our little friends can come into existence there was a stitch.  Learning to knit is easy and fun and there are plenty of learn to knit tutorials on youtube.  I learnt to knit from my mom.  All the girls in my family learnt to sew, knit and cook.  All great skills that have given me hours of joy over the years.  How did you learn to knit?
